At the end of my first blog, I mentioned about websites like Freelancer, Elance, and Guru. In today’s blog I am going to talk about how to be part of these websites. These websites changed the way people look at work from home jobs. They are making it possible for a US client to hire writers from countries like India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. You must have heard about outsourcing tech supports. Websites like Freelancer.com is a way to outsource content marketers and Data entry workers. Today there are millions of workers from all over the world earning money via Freelancer.

So the next question is how can one join websites like these? Well, it is as simple as joining Facebook. None of these websites will charge you money to join them. There is absolutely nothing to loose on your part. All these websites work in the same way.  So I am going to talk about the joining process of just one. I will give you the example of Freelancer.com now.

First step:  Write www. Freelancer.com in your browser address bar

When the website is loaded you will see that there are two options Work/Hire. Now click the work button.

This above screen will appear on your computer screen, as you can see, there is an option to join this website with your verified Facebook account. Joining with Facebook will save a lot of time and the website will ask you if they can use information from your Facebook account. But in case you want to start an account here with your e-mail address, here are the details.

Now write down the following information and click I want to work button, after that click create account. Freelancer will immediately send you an email to the address you used to get registered. You will need to click the link to verify your email. Now after that you need to log in using your registered email and password here.

Now select your job area, since we are talking about content marketers here mainly, I am going to give example of that. But the process is same for every job category.

So select writing and content, you will see a sub category opens up, now select areas like content writing, EBooks, blog, based on your own efficiency. You will also notice that you are getting notice about XP, this is something that you need later to find jobs. Now the website will offer you a paid membership, but paid membership is not mandatory here to apply for jobs.

So click the free button.  On the next step you will see hundreds of jobs are waiting for you based on your skills. As a free member you will get to bid for 8 jobs a month.
